All Work No Play Online Session
A New 3 hour FUN session to boost wellbeing and prevent burnout with Dale Sidebottom.

In this action-packed fun session you will find more moments of joy and happiness daily using evidence based fun strategies and activities.

You’ve heard of mindfulness. In this session we introduce PLAY as a simple way to be present in the moment. When you are truly present, stress and worry melts away, making you more mindful and connected. We all know this is good for us, but when was the last time you actually played?

Packed full of games, exercises, and fully backed by science, All Work No Play shows how to use play-based mindfulness to build healthy relationships, improve your mental health, and live a better life.

Inside this session, Dale introduces you to the Daily PEGG, a framework consisting of Play, Exercise, Gratitude and Giving that will ground your mindset and have a profound impact on your life and the lives of those around you. These tools can be used by anyone, as an individual goal, as a family challenge, or to connect teams and workplaces.

No matter where you are in life, All Work No Play is your guide to bringing more fun and fulfilment into your day.

If you’re an Accidental Counsellor supporting the wellbeing of others it’s important to look after yourself. Learning fun, simple, practical ways to enhance your wellbeing will help prevent burnout.

Fredrickson and Banigan (2005) discovered positive emotions increased attention, whereas negative emotions reduced thought processes. These findings reveal the importance of a positive mood in creativity, problem-solving, engagement and actions.

About the Presenters:

Rocky Biasi

Rocky Biasi created the Accidental Counsellor in 2008 as a result of his experience as a high school teacher, school counsellor, and counsellor in private practice for 20 years. He has presented the Accidental Counsellor to ten thousand people both online and in face to face workshops in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.

25 years ago, Rocky found himself depressed and anxious and didn’t know what that was! His story from seeking counselling to becoming a counsellor is an unlikely story.

At the age of 16, Rocky left school to work in banking after which he proceeded to his own retail business. Ultimately, Rocky decided to follow his dreams and pursue his passion for teaching, commencing his teaching career in his 30s.

He then found himself receiving counselling and then started a counselling degree. Along the way he changed his life and is passionate about sharing his story and program for Mental Health and Wellbeing.
